Description
A quiet little object for the everyday. Our Terra Ceramic Bud Vase is hand-finished in a warm earth glaze and finished with a hand-tied rope detail — a soft, organic contrast to the smooth ceramic body. Designed to hold a single dried stem, a few fresh sprigs, or simply stand on its own as a sculptural accent.
Why You'll Love It
- Warm Earth Glaze — A matte, organic finish with subtle tonal variation that makes every piece one of a kind.
- Hand-Tied Rope Detail — A natural rope accent adds texture and a quiet, artisanal feel.
- Compact Bud-Vase Size — 13.8cm tall, perfectly scaled for a single stem, dried pampas, or as a standalone shelf object.
- Minimalist Silhouette — Clean lines and a calm palette that fit modern, Japandi, farmhouse and organic-modern interiors.
- Handcrafted Ceramic — Made from durable ceramic with a glazed interior, suitable for fresh or dried arrangements.
Styling Ideas
Place it on a bedside table, a floating shelf, a dining-table centrepiece or a bathroom vanity. Pair it with dried pampas, a single protea stem, eucalyptus sprigs, or leave it empty as a sculptural decor piece.
A Gift That Feels Considered
Housewarmings, birthdays, hostess gifts or a quiet treat for yourself — a small vase is the kind of gift that gets used and admired for years.
Dimensions: H 13.8cm × L 10.2cm × W 5cm · Mouth Φ 2.5cm. Wipe clean with a soft dry cloth. Each piece is hand-finished, so slight variations in glaze are part of its character.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about understanding and taking care of your MOTOLIV pieces.
Can it hold water for fresh flowers?
Yes. Unlike decorative-only ceramics, each vase has a fully glazed, watertight interior, so it safely holds fresh single stems and small sprigs as well as dried pampas or faux arrangements. Refresh the water every couple of days and recut stems at an angle to keep them looking their best.
Singles or the set of three — what is the difference?
The collection comes in three sculptural silhouettes — Arch, Donut, and Barrel — each sold individually so you can start with one, or as a coordinated set of three styled to sit together on a shelf or tablescape. Buying the set costs less than purchasing all three shapes separately.
How big is it, and what fits through the opening?
These are compact bud vases — 13.8 cm tall with a 2.5 cm mouth — scaled for a single rose, ranunculus, eucalyptus sprig, or dried grasses rather than full bouquets. The small footprint is perfect for bedside tables, floating shelves, bathroom vanities, or a dining-table centerpiece.
Why does each vase look slightly different, and how do I care for mine?
Every vase is hand-finished in a matte earth glaze and finished with a hand-tied rope accent, so subtle tonal variations are intentional — evidence of its artisanal character rather than flaws. Wipe with a soft dry or lightly damp cloth and avoid sudden temperature changes.

The organic shape and warm neutral tone fit my modern farmhouse living room. It's small, so check dimensions, but that's what makes it charming. Rope accent is neatly tied and feels secure. Nice weight to the ceramic.

Bought this as a housewarming gift and it felt premium enough to not need extra wrapping. Each shape is distinct and they look styled together. Matte finish hides dust better than glossy ceramics. Very happy.

Size is just right for a single stem. Looks beautiful empty too as a sculptural piece. Glazed interior means I can use fresh flowers without worrying about water damage. Packaging was excellent, arrived intact.
S
The earthy matte glaze has subtle variations that make it look genuinely handmade, not mass-produced. The rope detail is a lovely texture contrast. I bought the set of three and arranged them on a floating shelf with dried pampas — exactly the Japandi look I wanted.
